Alexei Mizin is a writer and director based in Melbourne Australia.

Born in Russia, he migrated to Australia at the age of 10. On a particularly rebellious day he enrolled to study writing and film at the University of Melbourne and then further at the prestigious Victorian College of the Arts.

Alexei’s films have circulated in festivals around the world. He has also directed music videos, a TV pilot for Rose and Bean Productions and has recently completed his Masters in Film and Television at the VCA where his graduating film won numerous.

Currently, Alexei is completing a director's attachment with writer/director Stuart Beattie, while developing a feature length project.
