'Needles' at MSIFF

Needles will screen in competition at the Melbourne International Student Film Festival on the 24th of March, 2012.

'Beyond The Door' Music Video

A few weeks ago I teamed up with a talented Melbourne musician Tim Coghill to work on a music video for an awesomely epic track on his upcoming EP. We had a pretty tight crew led by our DP David Rusanow (check out his reel, the guy can line up a lens) and shot in a variety of locations in Melbourne's outer west.

Angry farmers were met and sunburns obtained but the footage is pretty slick. Below is a quick preview while we edit away.

Tim's concert Cinematic: Beforewards is coming up soon. Without giving too much away, this will be an atmospheric adventure into sound and sight, and I am super excited about it. Watch out for the music video in a couple of weeks.

'Closing In' at ACMI

My film Closing In will screen as part of the VCA Graduate Screening Season at the Australian Centre for the Moving Image over 3 nights:

• Thursday 8th of December at 5:00pm
• Saturday 10th December at 7:15pm
• Friday 16th December at 7:15pm

Streaming Film Festival

Our little film To The Beach (co-directed by Ryan van Dijk and myself) will be shown at the 6th annual International Streaming Festival from the 1st till the 18th of December as part of the 'Cinematic' program.

The Streaming Festival is an art event for independent artists exhibiting unconventional audiovisual art from all over the world. It is organized by the Isfth Foundation in the Netherlands.
